Job Summary
Ob/Gyn physician needed to join UW Health Northern Illinois in a busy community-based practice with a large team of Ob/Gyns and WHNPs. Opportunity to work in a teaching hospital environment, participate in an academic appointment with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, and provide obstetric/gynecologic/pediatric services within a newly expanding Women & Children’s Hospital. The role supports collaboration with MFM consultants, OB Hospitalist coverage, and access to DaVinci robotic surgery, a level III NICU, resident and student education, and potential relocation/interview expenses. The practice emphasizes a strong clinical program with opportunities for teaching, research, and scholarly activity; compensation is salary-based with wRVU incentives; benefits include comprehensive health and retirement plans, malpractice tail coverage, and provider referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO; BC or BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active license in Illinois and active DEA license, or ability to apply prior to or upon hire
- Board certification/eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Experience in obstetric and gynecologic care
- Ability to work in a teaching hospital with residents and medical students
Desired Qualifications
- MD or DO; BC or BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active license in the State of Illinois and active DEA license, or the ability to apply for such licenses prior to or upon hire.
- Board certification/eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Experience in obstetric and gynecologic care; ability to work in a teaching hospital and collaborate with residents and medical students
