Job Summary
OB/GYN position at UW Health Northern Illinois in a busy, teaching hospital setting with a 12-physician Ob/Gyn team and a strong emphasis on obstetric, gynecologic and pediatric services. Responsibilities include providing obstetric and gynecologic care, collaborating with MFM consultants and NICU support, participating in resident and medical student education, and potential academic appointment with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. Opportunities include involvement in a large expansion of women and children’s services, access to DaVinci robotic surgery, 24/7 OB Hospitalist coverage, and relocation with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- BC or BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active license in the State of Illinois and active DEA license, or the ability to apply for such licenses prior to or upon hire
