OB/GYN Ultrasound Tech- Per Diem

Conduct a wide variety of diagnostic sonographic exams for radiologists and assist physicians during sterile invasive procedures like biopsies and aspirations. Prepare exam rooms and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols, ensuring patient comfort, modesty, and safety while maintaining proper positioning to prevent musculoskeletal injury. Operate electronic systems including PACS, RIS, and Epic to document exams, fill requisitions, and record billing requirements. Perform appropriate studies based on patient conditions, identify exam limitations, and provide accurate information on reports. Maintain equipment through interaction with management and vendors to maximize uptime, keep exam rooms clean and ready for use, and handle telephone requests professionally. Monitor patient conditions and coordinate nursing involvement or other assistance when necessary.
