Job Summary
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services and care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatric populations. Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology while communicating effectively with staff and radiologists. Maintain ARDMS/ARRT registry eligibility and BCLS certification upon hire. This travel position offers schedule flexibility for a career change at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT
- 1 year of experience
- ARDMS/ARRT(s) registry eligible
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
