Job Summary
BE or BC OB/GYN physician needed to join a high-volume Waterbury, CT practice. Responsibilities include providing obstetric and gynecologic care, examining patients, taking histories, screening for breast/cervical/ovarian cancers, performing vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, treating urinary/hormonal/gynecologic disorders, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, creating treatment plans, and coordinating referrals. Documentation accuracy, billing/coding compliance, and collaboration with Practice Management are essential. Participation in on-call coverage and supervision of clinical staff (MAs, NPs, PAs) is required. Robotic training is a plus but not required. Required Qualifications
- BE or BC OB/GYN physician
- Board-certified or board-eligible in obstetrics and gynecology
- Medical degree (MD/DO) in obstetrics and gynecology or equivalent
- Ability to provide obstetric and gynecologic care, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Experience with or willingness to participate in on-call coverage
- Supervision of clinical staff (MAs, NPs, PAs)
- Familiarity with documentation, billing, and coding practices
