Job Summary
OB/GYN physician opportunity in Waterbury, CT within UConn Health Community Network Medical Group. Role entails high-volume obstetrics and gynecology with a mixed practice including pregnancy care, cancer screening (breast, cervical, ovarian), delivery (vaginal or cesarean), evaluation of urinary and pelvic disorders, hormonal and infectious disease management, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and coordination with hospital programs. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate documentation, collaborating on billing/coding compliance, promoting wellness and health education, participating in on-call coverage, and supervising clinical staff (MAs, NPs, PAs). Robotic training is a plus. Position supports academic collaboration and professional development within a supportive team environment at Waterbury Hospital and affiliated centers.
Required Qualifications
- BE or BC OB/GYN physician
- Board-eligible or board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology
- Ability to provide obstetric and gynecologic care
- Experience with pregnancy management and delivery (vaginal or cesarean)
- On-call coverage responsibilities
- Supervision of medical staff (MAs, NPs, PAs) at the site
- Robotic training a plus
