Job Summary
BE/BC OB/GYN physician sought to join UConn Health Community Network Medical Group in Waterbury, CT. The role involves providing obstetrics and gynecology care with a full patient panel in a high-volume, collaborative outpatient setting. Responsibilities include pregnancy and female reproductive health care, history-taking and exams, cancer screening (breast, cervical, ovarian), vaginal or cesarean delivery, managing urinary/pelvic/hormonal disorders and sexually transmitted diseases, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, creating treatment plans and referrals, ensuring accurate documentation, assisting with billing/coding compliance, promoting wellness and health education, on-call coverage, and supervising Medical Assistants, NPs, PAs, and other clinical staff. Required Qualifications
- BE or BC OB/GYN
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Active medical license in CT or eligible
- Ability to work in a high-volume practice
- On-call coverage responsibilities
- Supervision of clinical staff such as MAs, NPs, PAs
- Robotic training a plus but not required
