Job Summary
BE/BC OB/GYN physician needed for a high-volume Waterbury, CT practice within UConn Health Community Network Medical Group. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive OB/GYN care, examining patients, obtaining histories, screening for breast/cervical/ovarian cancers, delivering babies (vaginal or cesarean), treating urinary and pelvic disorders, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, creating treatment plans and referrals, ensuring accurate documentation, supporting billing/coding, promoting wellness, and supervising clinical staff. Weekend cross-coverage and on-call participation are required. Robotic training is a plus but not required. Required Qualifications
- BE or BC OB/GYN physician
- Board eligible or board-certified in OB/GYN
- Active medical license in Connecticut or eligibility to obtain one
- Ability to provide on-call coverage and participate in high-volume practice
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology with surgical delivery (vaginal and cesarean) preferred
- Robotic training is a plus but not required
