Job Summary
BE or BC OB/GYN physician to join a high-volume Waterbury, CT practice within the UConn Health Community Network Medical Group. Responsibilities include managing pregnancy-related care and female reproductive health, conducting examinations and histories, screening for breast/cervical/ovarian cancers, delivering babies (vaginally or via cesarean), treating urinary/pelvic/hormonal disorders and STIs, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, creating treatment plans and referrals, ensuring accurate patient documentation, coordinating with Practice Management on billing/coding compliance, promoting wellness and health education, participating in on-call coverage, and supervising clinical staff (MAs, NPs, PAs). Robotic training is a plus but not required. Opportunities for clinical growth, academic collaboration, and professional development within a supportive, high-volume environment; affiliate hospitals include Waterbury Hospital with Level II Trauma Center status and connections to UConn Health. Location: Waterbury, Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- BE or BC OB/GYN (board eligible or board certified)
- MD or DO degree
- licensed or eligible to practice in Connecticut
- be able to provide obstetric and gynecologic care including vaginal delivery and cesarean section
