Job Summary
Join UConn Health Community Network Medical Group as an OB/GYN in Waterbury, CT. Provide medical care related to pregnancy and the female reproductive system, examine patients, screen for breast, cervical, and ovarian cancers, and deliver babies (vaginally or via cesarean). Manage urinary and pelvic disorders, hormonal issues, and STDs; order and interpret diagnostics; develop treatment plans and referrals; ensure accurate documentation; collaborate with practice management on billing and coding; promote wellness and health education. Robotic training is a plus but not required. Participate in on-call coverage and supervise MAs, NPs, PAs, and other clinical staff. Required Qualifications
- BE or BC OB/GYN physician
- Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN
- Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric and gynecologic care
- Ability to provide on-call coverage and supervise clinical staff
- Experience with vaginal delivery and cesarean sections preferred but not required to be explicit in description
