Job Summary
Busy OB/GYN opportunity in Waterbury, CT for a BE/BC OB/GYN to provide a balanced mix of obstetrics and gynecology in a high-volume, collaborative practice. Responsibilities include obstetric and gynecologic patient care, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, breast/cervical/ovarian cancer screening, management of urinary/pelvic/hormonal disorders and sexually transmitted diseases, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, creating treatment plans, ensuring accurate documentation, collaborating on billing and coding, promoting wellness, and participating in on-call coverage. Robotic training is a plus but not required. Supervise MAs, NPs, PAs, and other clinical staff; opportunities for clinical growth, academic collaboration, and professional development within UConn Health Community Network Medical Group and Waterbury Hospital. The role emphasizes patient care, education, and community health impact in Waterbury’s healthcare network.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC OB/GYN
- Board-eligible or board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology
- MD or DO degree
