Job Summary
OB/GYN Physician (full-time) sought to join University of Michigan Health - Sparrow as Residency Faculty Practice in Lansing. Responsible for direct supervision of resident physicians in outpatient care, labor and delivery, and the operating room; rotating roles including Laborist, Clinic Attending, Gynecologic Surgeon, and Hospital GYN/Laborist backup; didactic teaching, resident mentoring, committee participation, and scholarly activity in line with ACGME standards. The role is hospital-employed with compensation and benefits, relocation assistance, CME benefits, malpractice insurance, and an emphasis on education and scholarly activity.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC/BE)
- Robotic surgery certification and experience
- Interest in resident education and scholarly activity with prior experience as a residency faculty member
- Direct supervision of resident physicians in outpatient, labor and delivery, and operating room settings
- Didactic teaching and resident mentoring
- ACGME-aligned scholarly activity and committee participation
