Job Summary
OB/GYN Physician to join Shoreline OB GYN within Women's Health Connecticut in New London, CT as a full-time physician. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive OB/GYN examinations, diagnosing and treating obstetric and gynecologic conditions, counseling patients on treatment regimens and family planning, developing and implementing patient management plans, following hospitalized patients as appropriate, maintaining continuity of care, and gaining competence in the Electronic Medical Record system. The role involves on-call duties (with current three physicians sharing call) and cross-coverage with affiliated physicians; practice is affiliated with Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. Requires MD or DO, board certification or eligibility, Connecticut medical license, and eligibility for hospital privileges.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible
- Connecticut License
- Federal and State controlled substance licenses
- BLS certification
- Eligible for hospital privileges
