Job Summary
OB/GYN Physician needed for Women’s Health Connecticut group; responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical exams, ordering/perfoming procedures (injections, immunizations, basic wound care), patient counseling on therapy regimens and development, developing management plans, following hospitalized patients as appropriate, gaining EMR competence, and handling billing at visits. Requires ability to diagnose conditions, knowledge of fetal growth principles, and capacity to address patient age-specific needs. Opportunities include CME reimbursement and comprehensive benefits in a two-location practice affiliated with Bridgeport Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible
- Connecticut License
- Federal and State controlled substance licenses
- BLS certification
- Eligible for hospital privileges
- Effective communication (verbal and written), listening, and customer service skills
