Job Summary
OB/GYN Physician role providing obstetric and gynecologic care across two office locations. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, ordering or performing therapeutic procedures (injections, immunizations, basic wound care), counseling patients on treatment regimens, family planning, and health maintenance, developing and implementing patient management plans, following hospitalized patients as appropriate, gaining competence in Electronic Medical Record systems, and handling billing at office visits. Requires MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility, Connecticut medical license, and related licenses; BLS certification; and eligibility for hospital privileges. Compensation is described as competitive with CME reimbursement and a full benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible
- Connecticut License
- Federal and State controlled substance licenses
- BLS certification
- Eligible for hospital privileges
- Effective communication (verbal and written), listening, and customer service skills
