OB/GYN Physician

Physician for Women's Health Connecticut seeks a full-time OB/GYN to support our OB/GYN practice. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, ordering/performing therapeutic procedures (injections, immunizations, basic wound care), counseling patients on treatment regimens, developing and implementing patient management plans, following hospitalized patients as appropriate, maintaining continuity of care, gaining competence in the Electronic Medical Record system, and handling billing submission at office visits. Candidates must diagnose conditions with knowledge of fetal growth and development and identify age-specific patient needs. Credentials include MD or DO from an accredited medical school, board certification or eligibility, Connecticut license, federal and state controlled-substance licenses, and BLS certification. The role is located in Trumbull, CT, affiliated with Women’s Health Connecticut and Bridgeport Hospital, with two office locations and equal call responsibilities.
