Job Summary
Perform comprehensive physical examinations, compile patient medical data including health history and examination results, and order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care. Instruct and counsel patients on prescribed regimens, growth and development, family planning, emotional health, and maintenance, while developing patient management plans and providing continuity of care for hospitalized patients. Gain competence in the Electronic Medical Record System and submit billing at the time of office visits. On-call rotation is equally shared among physicians within the Danbury, CT office, affiliated with Danbury Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health
- MD or DO from accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible
- Connecticut License or able to obtain
- Federal and State controlled substance licenses
- Eligible for hospital privileges
