Job Summary
OB/GYN physician sought to join Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital’s physician-led group, with responsibilities spanning clinical inpatient and outpatient obstetrics and gynecology across Barrington and Crystal Lake. The role includes delivering at GSHP (approx. 1095 deliveries annually), 24/7 in-house OB coverage, in-office ultrasound and procedures (colposcopy, LEEP, IUD), dedicated OR time, and collaboration with Advanced Practice Clinicians, RNs, Medical Assistants, and schedulers. The position emphasizes participation in a large integrated system, access to AI-assisted documentation tools (DAX Copilot integrated with Epic), and a supportive environment with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth. The package includes a $25K sign-on bonus and student loan forgiveness up to $90K, relocation assistance up to $12,000, comprehensive benefits, and a path for long-term career development within Advocate Health.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
- Illinois medical license (or eligibility)
- Ability to deliver obstetric care including high-volume deliveries
