Job Summary
Conduct daily OB/GYN clinic and hospital procedures including colposcopy, IUD management, biopsies, laparoscopy, hysterectomies, and Cesareans with an average load of 25 patients and 4-6 hospital cases per day. Manage your own patient call throughout the week until 5:00 p.m. and fulfill 1.5 weekend and holiday call rotations alongside nursery circumcisions. Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. as a hospital-employed physician at SOMC OB/GYN Associates in Portsmouth, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN
- Hospital employed OB/GYN Associate
- Must be able to work in a high volume clinic
- Eligible to earn additional compensation by joining our CERP (Pay for Call) Program
- Eligible for Clinical Adjunct Faculty status with Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine
- All employment is contingent upon passing the post-offer physical examination, drug screen, and criminal background investigation

- Willingness to work 1:5 Weekend and holiday call along with circumcisions in the nursery
- Willingness to call for your own patients throughout the week until 5:00p
