Job Summary
The OB/GYN Physician position focuses on providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to HealthNet and some Methodist Hospital patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities include direct patient care, conducting diagnostic procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, managing patient rounds, and overseeing the education and quality assurance activities with residents and other health professionals. The physician is expected to actively engage with patients and staff, ensuring effective communication and compassionate care. Qualifications include a current Indiana M.D. license, board certification or eligibility, and required certifications. This is a full-time role offering a competitive starting salary at $246,841/year.
Required Qualifications
- Current Indiana M.D. license
- Board certification or board eligibility
- DEA and SEA certification
- CPR certification
- Completion of residency program
- Hospital medical staff membership
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- High level of interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
