Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care for women in labor, including monitoring labor progress and managing vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Perform triage services for obstetric patients presenting with urgent or emergent conditions. Work closely with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care while communicating updates and education to families. Attend scheduled departmental meetings, participate on assigned committees, and assist with departmental recruitment efforts. Demonstrate community involvement to promote the department and CareMount Medical.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process
- Board Certification or board eligibility in OB/GYN
- Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
