Job Summary
Conduct full-scope hospital and clinic-based OB/GYN care across Legacy Silverton Medical Center and three affiliated clinics in Silverton, Keizer, and Woodburn. Provide clinical backup for Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Medicine-OB clinicians. Serve as Medical Director for the OB/GYN group, overseeing quality, patient safety, access, and performance improvement while managing physician staffing, recruitment, scheduling, and call coverage. Partner with the Family Birth Center Nurse Manager and Midwifery Director to develop CMS-required Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement initiatives. Foster a collaborative, team-centered practice environment supporting provider engagement and continuous improvement. This combined 1.0 FTE role includes 0.3 FTE as Medical Director and 0.7 FTE in clinical practice, with a 4-day work week and annual salary of $385,731–$402,658.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a four-year U.S. medical school or equivalent
- OB/GYN residency completed
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon
- Clinical experience in OB/GYN in both office and inpatient settings
- minimum of three years practicing medicine in OB/GYN required for the medical director component
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, professionalism, quality improvement, patient safety, collaboration, and mission-aligned leadership
- Current BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association
- Completion of Relias EFM certification within the first 30 calendar days of start date
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership, quality assurance, performance improvement, MBA, or MHA preparation preferred but not required
