Job Summary
Inpatient OB/GYN hospitalist coverage on 24-hour shifts for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. Responsibilities include labor and delivery care, ED consults, GYN service, and emergent gynecologic surgeries, with procedures such as cesarean delivery, D&C (obstetric and gynecologic), diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, and urgent or emergent gynecologic cases. Call is shared with other OB/GYN generalists and a Certified Nurse Midwife, with 11 shifts per month across days, nights, and weekends. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and BLS certification are required for this assignment.
