Job Summary
OB/GYN physician sought for locum tenens coverage in northern Illinois. Duties include clinic duties, GYN surgery, and OB/GYN call. Schedule Mon-Fri 8a-5p with 6 call shifts per month in an outpatient clinic setting; daily census ~24-30 per shift; delivery volume just under 1K annually. EMR is Epic. Requires board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN. Travel and lodging arranged; malpractice coverage provided. LC team assists with licensing/credentialing.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN
- Proficient in GYN surgery including hysterectomies, ectopic pregnancy management, DNC, and ovarian torsion (during ER coverage)
- Experience with EMR Epic
- Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois (or eligible for licensure)
