Job Summary
Manage inpatient obstetrics and acute women's health care by focusing on labor management, deliveries, C-sections, and obstetric emergencies. Collaborate with midwives, APPs, nurses, anesthesiology, and community OB/GYN physicians to provide continuous, hospital-based coverage and support patients requiring immediate access to an experienced OB/GYN. Practice high-acuity obstetrics within a dedicated laborist model designed for predictable shifts, work-life balance, and reduced reliance on traditional office-based responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for New York State medical licensure
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and operative delivery
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
