Job Summary
Monitor labor, deliver babies, and perform surgical assists for all pregnant women presenting to the hospital, including emergent cases regardless of circumstance. Evaluate and treat triage and postpartum patients while providing consultation to the ED and supporting private practice physicians with coverage and assistance. Cultivate relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel to ensure family-centered care for mothers and newborns. Work five to seven 24-hour shifts per month with no on-call duty or administrative responsibilities.
