Job Summary
Manage emergent obstetric cases, monitor labor, deliver babies, and perform surgical assists while evaluating triage and postpartum patients. Provide coverage and assistance to private practice physicians, support staff nurses, and consult with the ED. Cultivate relationships with hospital personnel and ensure every pregnant woman receives care from an experienced physician. This role includes five to seven 24-hour shifts monthly with no on-call duty or administrative tasks. - Experience caring for unassigned patients
- Experience evaluating and treating triage patients
- Experience providing consultation to the ED
- Experience monitoring labor
- Experience delivering babies

- Experience evaluating and treating postpartum patients
- Experience providing nurse support and education
- Ability to create their own schedules
- Availability for eight 24-hour shifts per month
- Ability to work without on-call duty
