Job Summary
Caring for all pregnant women who present emergently, regardless of circumstance, while evaluating and treating triage patients and monitoring labor. Deliver babies, perform surgery and surgical assists, and evaluate and treat postpartum patients. Provide consultation to the ED, support private practice physicians by offering coverage and assistance, and cultivate relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel. This role offers full-time hospitalists with five to seven 24-hour shifts per month, guaranteed shifts, and a flexible schedule with no on-call duty or administrative responsibilities. Morton Plant Hospital, a 687-bed medical center in Clearwater, FL, features a level II NICU and is designated Baby-Friendly.

- Ability to handle any obstetric emergency
- Experience working collaboratively with local obstetricians
