Job Summary
Caring for all pregnant women who present emergent, regardless of circumstance, while evaluating and treating triage patients. Deliver babies, perform surgery and surgical assists, and monitor labor. Provide consultation to the ED and evaluate and treat postpartum patients. Cultivate relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel, and support private practice physicians by providing coverage and assistance. This role offers full-time hospitalists with eight 24-hour shifts per month, no on-call duty, and 20+ days off annually. Work with Morton Plant Hospital's largest obstetrical program in North Pinellas County, a Baby-Friendly facility known for low Cesarean rates.
