Job Summary
Manage all pregnant women presenting emergently, regardless of circumstance, by evaluating triage patients, monitoring labor, delivering babies, performing surgery and surgical assists, and treating postpartum patients. Provide consultation to the ED, care for unassigned patients, and support private practice physicians through coverage and assistance. Cultivate relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel while offering nurse support and education. Work five to seven 24-hour shifts per month with guaranteed availability, no on-call duty, and 20+ days off monthly.
