Job Summary
Manage OB/GYN hospitalist duties at NorthBay Health's 154-bed facility, including 24-hour in-house call rotation and overseeing an average of 135 monthly births split between two physicians. Provide clinical and surgical care across the 8-bed labor unit and 13-bed postpartum unit, with access to a Level III NICU staffed by board-certified neonatologists for high-risk cases. Utilize Cerner EMR (transitioning to EPIC in 10/2026) within a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice professionals. Full-time or part-time positions available with a California medical license and OB/GYN residency completion required.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid and active medical license in California
- BLS and ACLS
- Strong clinical and surgical skills in obstetrics and gynecology
- Excellent communication skills for patient education
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and general computer skills
