Job Summary
OB/GYN Hospitalist with Tufts Medicine at Lowell General Hospital. Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN to join a collaborative OB Hospitalist team delivering inpatient obstetrics care with CNMs, anesthesia, pediatrics, and ICU support. Nocturnist schedule (7 PM–7 AM), 12 shifts/month, shared coverage with OB Hospitalists and CNMs, ~1,800 deliveries annually, dedicated academic opportunities with Tufts University School of Medicine, and a focus on quality and patient safety within a supportive, team-based model. Responsibilities include obstetrical care on Labor & Delivery, OBED evaluations/admissions, gynecologic consultations, consultative role with Family Medicine Attendings, collaboration with midwives and nursing staff, and participation in teaching and scholarly activities for residents and medical students. Eligible for or licensed in Massachusetts with a strong commitment to diverse patient populations and continuing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Eligible for or licensed in Massachusetts
- Active medical license in good standing (Massachusetts)
- Ability to work nocturnist shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and participate in a shared coverage model
