Job Summary
Provide inpatient triage, unassigned patient care, and obstetric emergency coverage for high-acuity obstetrics within a Certified OB Emergency Department. Manage a 20-week coverage period supported by an active simulation program and dedicated anesthesia. Operate in a shift-based model with no call to ensure exceptional work-life balance. Join a collaborative program featuring a Certified Nurse Midwife program and two operating rooms at a Level II Trauma Center serving 2,000 annual deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. (or foreign equivalent)
- Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
- Completion of an RCPSC-accredited Canadian OB/GYN residency
- Unrestricted Washington medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- OB Hospitalist experience
- ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
