Job Summary
Manage labor and delivery births in partnership with Certified Nurse Midwives, covering all gynecologic emergency department phone calls, consults, admissions, and emergent surgeries. Perform necessary gynecologic procedures and surgeries to ensure timely inpatient care while providing continuous 24/7 coverage as the sole OB/GYN hospitalist on duty. Work 24-hour shifts in a Level I nursery capable of caring for infants born at 35 weeks gestation, supported by a collaborative team and tertiary care specialists at Sutter Sacramento for high-risk maternal transfers.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified/eligible OB/GYN Physician
