Job Summary
OB/GYN physician sought for a hospital-employed position in The Shoals area of Northwest Alabama. The role features a newly renovated Women’s Center with a dedicated C-section and recovery suite and Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery. Schedule is Monday through Thursday and until noon on Friday, with ~20 patients seen per day. Call is 1 in 5. Benefits include stipend, signing bonus, loan repayment, CME allowance, malpractice with tail, 401K, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility. Cerner EMR is used.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent medical degree
- current medical license to practice OB/GYN in Alabama or eligible for licensure in Alabama
- board certification/eligibility in obstetrics and gynecology
- ability to perform Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery (or willingness to train)
- experience in fetal monitoring and prenatal care desired
- call schedule 1 in 5
- hospital-employed position
