Job Summary
OB/GYN for a hospital-employed practice in the Shoals area (Florence, Sheffield, Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia). Responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care with a dedicated Women's Center featuring a C-section and recovery suite, and Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery. Schedule is Monday–Thursday and Friday mornings with call 1 in 5; approximately 20 patients seen per day. Benefits include a stipend, signing bonus, loan repayment, CME allowance, malpractice with tail, 401K, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility. Cerner EMR used; Level 2 Nursery on site. Located near major airports and with access to outdoor and cultural amenities.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board-certified OB/GYN or eligible
- AL medical license or ability to obtain
- hospital privileges
- Da Vinci Robotic-assisted surgery experience preferred
- Call coverage 1 in 5
- C-section and recovery suite experience a plus
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- uppercase CME allowance preferred
