Job Summary
Conduct outpatient Obstetric/GYN clinic coverage and perform high-volume vaginal surgical procedures, including vaginal hysterectomy, while prioritizing minimally invasive techniques. Evaluate and manage patients with gynecologic conditions, abnormal uterine bleeding, and benign pelvic masses through comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care. Mentor residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers on surgical options and risks, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based guideline adherence. Collaborate with urogynecology, urology, and primary care teams to coordinate multidisciplinary care. Participate in daytime medical floor/ER and clinic consultations, with occasional GYN/ER coverage calls.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Demonstrated proficiency in vaginal surgical techniques
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
