Job Summary
Provide consistent, compassionate, high-quality, patient-centric OB/GYN care and ensure excellent patient outcomes. Deliver 24-hour nocturnist coverage supporting over 6,000 annual deliveries and a four-year residency program. Establish an independently funded research program in obstetrics, gynecology, or reproductive science within a collaborative, world-class academic environment. Partner with multi-specialty colleagues to advance clinical and translational research while embracing the teaching mission of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Required Qualifications
- OB/GYN Physician
- current NYS medical license
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- PhD, MD, or MD/PhD
- strong record or established research funding, including NIH grants
- tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at the rank of Associate or Full Professor
- demonstrated excellence in clinical or translational research in obstetrics, gynecology, or reproductive science
- establish a dynamic and independently funded research program
- support and participate in collaborative cutting-edge research throughout the medical school
- qualification for an academic appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
- passion for academic setting and teaching
