Job Summary
Provide consistent, compassionate, high-quality, patient-centric care as an OB/GYN Generalist while serving as a Nocturnist for the Mount Sinai West department. Deliver personalized care to the diverse community served by over 40 board-certified physicians, supporting 2,400 deliveries annually and a four-year residency program. Engage in academic appointments with the Icahn School of Medicine, including teaching third-year medical students and participating in collaborative cutting-edge research. Establish an independently funded research program in obstetrics, gynecology, or reproductive science, leveraging world-class shared research facilities. Maintain a current NYS medical license and hold a medical degree from an accredited university.
Required Qualifications
- OB/GYN Physician
- current NYS medical license
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- PhD, MD, or MD/PhD
- strong record or established research funding, including NIH grants
- tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at the rank of Associate or Full Professor
- demonstrated excellence in clinical or translational research in obstetrics, gynecology, or reproductive science
- establish a dynamic and independently funded research program
- support and participate in collaborative cutting-edge research throughout the medical school
- qualification for an academic appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
