Job Summary
Conduct full scope generalist obstetrics and gynecology services across inpatient and outpatient settings at Lake Regional, Missouri Highlands, and Bothwell Regional facilities. Manage clinic coverage Monday through Friday with block scheduling of five 24-hour shifts, maintaining a 5-on/10-off rotation. Provide emergency care for all pregnant women regardless of circumstance, cultivate relationships with nursing staff, and facilitate daily interdisciplinary board rounds. Support private practice physicians with coverage and assistance while participating in CME, leadership training, and volunteer medical mission trips.
Required Qualifications
- Full Scope Generalist for both inpatient and outpatient services
- Clinic coverage M-F
- Block scheduling of 5, 24 hr. shifts with an intended schedule of 5 on/ 10 off
- Caring for all pregnant women who present emergently, regardless of circumstance
- Cultivating relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel
- Supporting private practice physicians by providing coverage and assistance
- Facilitating daily interdisciplinary board rounds to improve patient safety
