Job Summary
OB/GYN physician in a Community Health Center setting with independent responsibility for professional outcomes. Provides comprehensive primary healthcare services, performs physical examinations, diagnostics, vaccines, and on-call duties as part of a team. Collaborates with care team to coordinate patient care, adheres to HIPAA and infection control policies, and may supervise mid-level providers. Requires medical degree, completed residency in OB/GYN or related fields, and Board Certified/Eligible, with license to practice in California; bilingual Spanish desirable. Wage range bi-weekly: $11,538.46 – $13,238.81; location Santa Maria, CA (US).
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of a residency training program in the field Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN or Pediatrics, required
- Board Certified or board eligibility required
- Possession of current unrestricted and valid License - Physician and Surgeon or equivalent from Medical Board of California
- Board Certified/Eligible Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN or Pediatrics, required
- Possession of current unrestricted and valid DEA license
- ACLS for FP/IM, PALS for PEDS; and BLS-C for all specialties
- Annual health examination; annual TB skin test clearance or biannual chest x-ray, and up to date immunizations for health care workers at time of hire and annually thereafter
