Job Summary
Provide full-spectrum women's healthcare services including annual wellness exams, prenatal and postnatal care, labor and delivery, and gynecologic surgical procedures. Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions, offer contraceptive counseling and fertility guidance, and manage patient referrals or admissions as clinically appropriate. Collaborate closely with clinic staff, medical staff, and leadership to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care within a collaborative, team-based model. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with dedicated OR block time on Mondays and Fridays. The role includes approximately 300 deliveries annually and supports a growing practice with onsite MFM ultrasound and surgical coverage.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for unrestricted Illinois medical license
- Current DEA registration
- ACLS certification
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required within 6 months if not current)
- Proof of approved Fetal Monitoring Course attendance every 2 years
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
