Job Summary
Conduct OB anesthesia coverage for a high-acuity, multi-provider team managing 3,000 annual births across two operating rooms and eight labor rooms. Manage epidurals and c-sections with full clinical autonomy while collaborating with residents and students in a supportive teaching environment. Maintain proficiency with spinals and epidurals within a diverse department serving acute care, cardiac, and interventional services. Work part-time shifts with a 2-year commitment for a $26,000 sign-on bonus and access to a 355-bed regional medical center located near Sacramento and San Francisco.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Part-Time OB Nocturnist
- Experience at an independent practice site, 2+ years
- Prior OB experience
- Proficiency with spinals and epidurals
- Active state RN and CRNA licenses
- Board certification
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
- Decision-Making Skills
- Ability to Work with an Underserved, High-Accuity Patient Population
- High Level of Interest in Collaboration with Learners and Students
