OA Sanitation Crew 3rd shift

Job Summary
Sanitize equipment, production areas, and floors using approved chemicals and methods, including disassembling and reassembling machinery for thorough cleaning. Coordinate daily sanitation activities, conduct visual inspections, and document procedures while ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, FDA, and OSHA regulations. Manage cleaning chemical supplies and report potential contamination or safety concerns immediately. Work extended hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends in varying environmental conditions while wearing personal protective equipment. Assist operations to maintain high audit ratings and support all food safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups
- Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work
- Ability to train, maintain and promote a safe work environment
- Read and understand HACCP along with FDA and OSHA requirements as needed
- Must be physically capable of working extended hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends if needed
- Must be physically capable of working in varying elements that could include damp, cold, wet, hot or warm environment and standing for long periods of time
- Must be physically capable of wearing and working in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for the purposes of Butterball's Drug/Alcohol Screening & Testing Policy
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledgeable of Sanitation principles and practices in the food industry
- Knowledgeable and understands HACCP program along with FDA and OSHA requirements
