OA - LIVE HANG 1st Shift

Transfer live birds from holding zone onto shackles on a processing line; perform repetitive tasks without the assistance of tools; adhere to animal care and wellbeing, safety, and food safety standards; follow GMP and HACCP procedures related to product safety; support Food Safety initiatives; read and understand HACCP, FDA and OSHA requirements as needed; self-directed with the ability to work independently and with groups; plan, organize and prioritize work; train, maintain and promote a safe work environment; prefer previous experience in a food manufacturing environment; physical requirements include standing for long periods, lifting up to 60 pounds, working in a wet environment, and wearing PPE; work in a food processing plant with high noise levels and potential exposure to processing equipment.
