Job Summary
Perform manual and machine-assisted tasks to produce whole turkey products, parts, and ready-to-cook or ready-to-eat items for secondary processing. Inspect birds to ensure maximum quality and food safety while following GMP, HACCP, FDA, and OSHA procedures. Operate tools such as knives, scissors, and vibrating equipment to process meat, maintaining a safe work environment. Work in a high-noise, wet processing plant environment wearing personal protective equipment, with potential for extended hours and physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups
- Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work
- Ability to train, maintain and promote a safe work environment
- Read and understand HACCP along with FDA and OSHA requirements as needed
- Must be physically capable of working extended hours if needed
- Must be physically capable of working in a wet environment
- Must be physically capable of standing for long periods of time
- Must be physically capable of operating processing equipment
- Must be physically capable of wearing and working in personal protective equipment

Desired Qualifications
