Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design or operation of products, including structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating; analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling; responsibilities include drafting blueprints, supervising construction projects, and ensuring compliance with legal and environmental regulations; coordinates with consultants, contractors, and local enforcement agencies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget; ideal candidate has strong civil engineering principles, analytical abilities, and ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams.
