O2C Junior Analyst - Credit Control (Dutch speaking)

Job Summary
Monitor outstanding balances, assess credit requests, and resolve credit holds in coordination with Sales to ensure timely payment of debts. Analyze customer financial statements and risk exposure while preparing monthly credit control reports and ad-hoc analysis. Identify recurring issues, propose improvement actions, and maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting principles. This Junior Credit Control Specialist role supports stable cash flow and minimizes bad debts within Brenntag's international chemical distribution network. The position offers flexible working hours starting between 7:00 and 10:00 AM CET, a hybrid model with two remote days, and includes private healthcare, a performance-based bonus, and language development support.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Dutch speaking (Level B)
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Credit Control (not limited to Cash Application or Collections)
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Collections, Credit Control, Accounts Receivable
- Solid understanding of credit risk assessment and receivables management
- Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
- Hybrid model: 3 days in the office

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in transition or migration projects is considered a strong asset
