Job Summary
Credit Control / O2C Analyst role at Brenntag focusing on controlling outstanding balances, credit risk, and bad debt exposure. Responsibilities include leading daily credit control activities, reviewing/approving credit terms, analyzing monthly credit metrics, ensuring timely payments, coordinating with Sales/Logistics, setting team KPIs, coaching and developing team members, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and internal controls. The position involves collaboration across internal stakeholders and supports order fulfillment while minimizing bad debt, in a transition/migration project environment. Romanian-speaking capability is required. The role emphasizes operational leadership, credit risk management, and stakeholder management to optimize financial performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required for senior-level roles
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Credit Control
- Experience in transition or migration projects is a strong asset
- Fluent in Romanian (B Level)
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office tools
- Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in accounting is considered an advantage
- Proven experience in credit limit setup, order release, and payment terms analysis
