Job Summary
O&M WTG Asset Management Engineer in Ostend, Belgium. Responsible for the optimal operation of the windfarm's turbine assets, interfacing with the long-term service provider (technical and contractual), following up daily onshore and offshore activities, and delivering KPI-focused reporting. Leads monthly meetings, conducts substantiated technical analyses to challenge contractors, supervises turbine maintenance data, and investigates opportunities for improved performance and maintenance strategies. Manages data analytics to optimize operations, follows up on SCADA issues, and coordinates with O&M teams and energy offtake partners. Requires a degree in engineering, strong contract-management experience, and willingness to occasionally travel offshore; proficiency with PowerBI and Python is a plus. Based in Ostend with a hybrid work arrangement and regular in-person collaboration; occasional offshore visits expected. Fluent in English and Dutch.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (or similar through experience)
- Strong experience in contract management within a technical or operational environment
- Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken
- Willingness to occasionally go offshore to the Belgian offshore windfarms
- Knowledge of data tools such as PowerBI, Python, etc. is a plus
- Experience in offshore energy, maintenance services, big data processing is a plus
